This is a subject very dear to my heart at the moment, as some of you may know. All I would say is don`t suffer in silence for too long. Talk to your boss or someone you can trust and try and keep calm. If that doesn`t work check out your other options and do read the terms and conditions of your contract. Good luck, hope it works out ok. Frances |

It might be worth going to your local jobcentre and telling them about this - at least if you leave your job they will be forewarned and you got your story in first. I wanted to leave a horrible job, I'd been there for nine years and was treated like dirt the whole time, but I was too downtrodden to leave! It was actually making me ill and I went to the Job Centre in desperation to find out where I would stand if I left. They were so nice I couldnt believe it! They told me no-one has to put up with this sort of thing these days and even though I left of my own accord I got benefits straightaway. (They found me another job in a week though, but that's another story!) But, as the others have said, go the extra mile willingly - but also make it clear that you are not to be viewed as a skivvy either. You dont have to lose your temper to make your point. Lots of luck anyway. |
