Thanks. Just wondered if i could've traced a brother my gran never knew but knows that he was illigimate, adopted and known to have lived in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. Birth mother was Annie McCormick of Auchinleck, Ayrshire, Scotland, father unknown. |

my brother found my grans birth certificate from records office but adoption was illegal in 1900s early , so there were no records i dont think, her real mother was named on her birth certificate |

I am trying to find adoption records for an illigitimate child a great grandmother had however i only know her name, would these be available somewhere online or would i need to a records office. |
