Andrea - Sorry to disappoint you, its my mother-in-laws maiden name, her mother and father were both Davies, so I get totally confused, MIL is now nearly 87 and hubby asked me to 'do' her tree, boy is it difficult. I've got a niece in law whose name was Susan Davies though. |

I have the only 2 Wedralds probably ever. All down to an illiterate parent with a speech impediment I assume. Similarly I seem to have the monopoly on Widby, probably Whitby with a head cold! I also had the only Ayleward. Although I finally gave in to GR pressure and changed it to Aylward to make searching for a link easier. Most of mine are accounted for by deviant spellings. Trying some variants I've found definite relatives, but nobody else seems interested in Lallam or Achym. And yes, I've got my share of the others: Smith, Brown etc. Brenda |

I've got the only Deverdis or De Verdis family on the site; it looks like most of the unusual ones have foreign roots, don't you think? |
