Craig Many congratulations on the birth of your lovely son. I think Harry sounds fine, and don't worry if the initials spell HP (as in sauce). Mine are also HP (Helen Patricia) and I never got teased about it! Taste in names is very personal, isn't it. If you don't go for Harry then I would suggest something classic like David, which never seems to go out of fashion. Helen

Craig - just in case you hadn't had enough suggestions already here are mine! My sons are Nathaniel Adam and Zachary Thomas and I love all those names (I like Thomas for first name too not just middle name). I also liked Charlie (after my grandad) but thought naming either of my sons Charlie Brown would have been cruel - Charles Patrick Sweaton sounds lovely! Nathaniel, Zachary, Thomas, Charles, William, Samuel, Taylor, Reuben, Seth (my nephew), Jacob, Jared. But it has to be CHARLES PATRICK SWEATON!!! charlie sweaton for short p.s. do we get a prize if we suggest the one you finally pick??

I like Harry. It was the name of both mine and my husband's Grandads, although my Grandad's middle name was Gustavus. How about that - no-one suggested that yet! My sons are Matthew David and James Edward and grandson is Owen Christopher - all good old fashioned names! LOL Hope whatsisname is thriving and gets his own name soon! Love Sue

Hi, The teacher in me tells me to advise you not to choose a name that will get him teased or bullied in school. Anything too trendy or naming him after current popstars or actors will always give his age away. Are there any family names you like? My son is Benjamin John after my father and an Uncle who died the year he was born. Gwynne
