Hello all you Essex girls, I ws born in Walton-on-Naze and lived there until 1968, when we moved to Hampshire and we are now in Australia. I have never seen anyone else from Walton on this board and would like to. I have met a very nice lady who goes to Walton on holiday and she sends me photos which I appreciate very much. I have a neice in Kirby Cross and a nephew and another neice in Colchester and another neice in Ipswich. Best wishes to you all from Sylvia in Perth WA |

I was born & bred in the North East, but have found out through my family history research that the family dates back to Pebmarsh in Essex. Have got back to c1737 & my branch moved North, via Staffordshire, mid 1880s. |

Hi Tracy, My best friend is a Tracy from Essex, and like you she spells it without an "E". Born in the 70's by any chance? Steph, I guess the village you are referring to begins with a "C". My mum used to live there! Went to Gaynes. Carole x |
