digital cameras- advice needed !

As said before the problem with ordinary a a batteries is that they drain really quickly, lots of cameras come with a charger & batteries . I too had a Nikon coolpix and it was brilliant....until I fell head over ar*e in the summer & broke it ! Went to get a new one & discovered in the space of a year, the compact flash memory card used with Nikon coolpix, has been replaced with a different memory card. So sadly we had to get a different camera ( using compact flash cards) to use our existing memory cards, as we had several one being 256 MB. But I still hanker over my old camera... Elaine x
