McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 24 Nov 2004 18:13

Hi Maz......... I used to be a Virgin Vie consultant up until January :)) It is owned by Richard Branson - apart from the odd shop here and there it is sold through Party Plan, where the Consultant comes to your house and will do either Skin Care; Make Up or Body Care demonstrations which you can all join in. They are lovely products, and altho some will say they are expensive, they are not much dearer than Avon - who they have over taken in the market - you certainly get your monies worth - it lasts for ages. It's quality is on a par with Clinique and the like. Do go along - you will have a great time I'm certain and you will adore the Christmas goodies - they are gorgeous. Oh yeah - take your credit card LOL - you'll be spoilt for choose :P Anne

Ah ha! Sandra! Hello - I was just wondering where you were lately :)) Maz it's no more expensive than other makes: Lippy - £9 Foundations - £9 - £14 Blusher - £9 Mascara - £8.50 Nail colours - £ 6 Skin care - £11 upwards depending on range And most of the products can be brought as a 'collection' which can save you £5-£10 on the individual prices. My sis-in-law uses only Clinique moisturiser and that is £25, same as the dearest of all the VV moisturisers. My workmate has been selling it for 3 yrs and has many satisfied long-term customers :))

I found it very expensive went too one about three and half years ago. Was hoping they would do make up etc for my wedding but they charged an arm and a leg just for the consultation

I've managed to avoid several parties already but alas cannot escape one on Monday. I agree it's expensive, but nice, but is it only me who's fed up with skin care at Christmas???

Well girls, it IS lush isn't it!!! I was very good (well, that's what I've told HIM ... ). Treated myself to some hair shimmer spray - will last for ages, non-sticky, can use on daughter too - 3 little tubes of lippy - gorge colours, not gunky - and a beautifully soft powder brush - needed one desperately, old one moulting like crazy. Also bought one of their gift sets for my friend's 40th present in a few weeks - just hope it comes in time - candle, bath stuff, shower stuff, body cream, in a classy gift box. Maz. XX
