i do !!!!!!!!!!!! learnt in the late 1950s - underwood secretarial college, liverpool - no long there. we werent allowed to look at the keyboard, had speed tests. ah those were the days. always had trouble using my little fingers, they are quite short!!!!!! glenys on merseyside.

I do,I tried to learn with Mavis Bacon,but got on quicker by myself.All the wrong fingers on the wrong keys,but I've done it for so many years I can't correct it now.Still, it works, and that is all that matters,-Rose I don't have a mouse as such,I have one of these really touch sensitive jobs and it took a while to convert frommy old puter.If I inadvertantly brush my finger over the mouse area I can lose work or make a right bodge of something I've spent ages on. Hs anyone still got their old typewriter? I tried to use mine a while back justfor fun and jambed my fingers painfully BETWEEN the keys.How on earth did we managed with them

Hi Daniel, Yes I type with both hands,used to be a shorthand.typist,secretary,it certainly comes in usefull now. The shorthand now no need for,and it took me ages to learn it. trish.

trish, did u also learn book-keeping? my shorthand mostly forgotten, it was pitmans. all was a good grounding for secretarial/p.a. work. do u remember telex????? those were the days - i feel a song coming on..........

of course and do an ironing and make the dinner and a cup of coffee. thats what us women are capable of but men cant do two things at the one time medically inpossible for their brains. sorry but it is. it is in your genes
