Where would you go.I would go back to 1891 and ask my g.grandparents why they left their daughter with a foster mother.Did you really get married and where did you disappear to?

I'd go back to 1830 and live with my 4xgreat grandparents tenement in London's Soho and see my 3xgreat grandfather as a 1 year old, and ask his parents all about THEIR ancestry, and my 4xgreat grandfather would take me for a ride on his carriage as he was a coachman.

I would go back to the 1950's so i could tell my father-in-law what i had found searching the family history and why he used to say let sleeping dogs lie if we started to ask questions about his and m-i-l past. howard

If I could have the use of a time machine Margaret, I'd have to go back in time and sort a few of my mistakes out before I went back for genealogy purposes lol David:)

if i had could go back i would go back to 1968 when i was meant to have been aborted (actual words spoken to me by my birth mother) but somehow ended up being born then adopted at 7 and find out why i was meant to be, and then would have went back in time and stopped the rape by two cousins when i was five that made me unable to have kids today. so i would use that time machine as much as is possible. sorry but you did ask. but so glad i have my hubby today so truthfully wouldnt change anything just would want to go back and ask and change that one thing above.

First I would go back to 16th feb 1941 and warn my hubbys' grandmother not to take her children to the arches in Stainer street during the air raid on the 17th. Sadly they were all killed by a direct hit. Then I would go back ten years and beg my mother to take better care of her health. Oh and Id take my dog for a lovely long walk! Kerry

I'd like to go back to the city of London pre-1666 to see what it was like before the fire (would have to be immune to the Plague, though!)

May I be dropped of in London in 1846 to find out if my gt gt grandmother really believed she was a widow when she married her second husband? Ten years later she sent her two sons to Australia to join their dad, her first husband who had been transported for sheep stealing.Judith

MrsBucketBouquet Report 10 Dec 2004 03:35

I would go back 52 years and ask the woman that adopted my half sister why she told her that OUR Mother entertained the troops during the war!...If it wasnt for OUR Mother....she would never had had a daughter! (this woman hasnt had sex with her husband for the past 50 years cos she thinks it's dirty!) No wonder she couldnt have her own children and had to adopt!.........Oooooooooo sounds like it touched nerve!...too bloody right it did! lol... Gerri.

Hi Margaret. I would go back to 1915, when my Grandfather first arrived in Oz from the U.K. and ask him where his 8 brothers and sisters live in Essex. After that, i would just go back a week and get the Lotto results, then travel back two weeks and put them on.lol Tony Oz.
