Every where has half price, three 4 two and loads of offers so maybe doing your Christmas shopping now is a good thing. All that money saved! Think the shops are getting worried we're all so slow!

Pat

Pat Report 9 Dec 2004 13:05

I havent got one present or done one card and I have no decorations up either. I will do it all in a mad flurry then I will know it's near Christmas, I think that's part of the whole thing for me, I can't be that organised, wouldn't enjoy it. Pat x

PennyDainty Report 9 Dec 2004 14:08

This is a first for me this year, I had everything in and wrapped by the end of November. I have to say not as enjoyable as my usual method of running around on Christmas eve in a mad rush. Think I'll go back to the old method next year! Christine

Susan Report 9 Dec 2004 14:11

cards are written and sent out.. just last few items to get for the kids then the wrapping starts... go to my moms for christmas dinner.. then my mother in laws for tea so no need to worry about that side of things... sue HAPPY CHRISTMAS

Melba64

Melba64 Report 9 Dec 2004 21:13

I've got most of mine done. Just a couple more presents to get and cards to send to my work colleagues. All that need posting have been posted. I hate shopping in town this time of year as it is so crowded. I am a wheelchair user and all the shops seem to cram everything in so I can't get round. Last year I complained in a card shop and the answer I was given was "Well we are a card shop and it's Christmas." Not very constructive when I need to buy cards and wrapping paper as much as anyone else does. Mel

Christine2 Report 9 Dec 2004 21:17

I'm very organised too. I plan to finish writing on the cards and finish decorating the tree and finish bying the presents tomorrow. Mind you, that's what I said yesterday as well :))) Chrissie x

I've still got to do all my shopping, all my dads shopping, my grandad wants me to pick up bits for the great grandkids and I've got to cook christmas dinner for 15 people. Help!! Oh, and I'll probably get a phone call christmas eve from my little brother asking me what he should buy. Kerry
