Shall go down the town today Julie, if we get there befor 10, then we can park!.. trouble is, nowhere is open till 11, so we have a coffee in Starbucks and look round the market, it is good on a Sunday, a lot of gift and craft stalls on it, there is a great cake stall, Tom's cakes, he makes the most delicious cheese scones, proper home-made, and big!.. |

It's funny how I can eat cheese in cooking, but on it's own if too strong, I get a bad head! also, have to watch the choccy, especially Thorntons, not fair at this time of year! :( |

Morning Christine, Not much planned today. I need a rest after a busy day yesterday. I'll probably blow up some more inflatable decorations later. Pub quiz tonight as usual. Hope everyone has a peaceful day. Gwynne |

Hi Christine, I'm not allowed to put decorations outside. Sniff. The inflatable decs (about 2ft tall generally) slowly get inflated in the run up to Christmas. We have two snowmen, a reindeer, several Santas, a penguin, 2 Christmas trees and a candy cane. There is no floor space when they are all done. We used to have a 6ft inflatable Santa that stood on the landing but he got so many leaks that he had to go. Gwynne |

Don't panic, that's when we buy daft things. Have a good think before you hit the shops about each recipient and make a list of possibles..........don't be diverted. Easy to say, of course. And keep to your budget!! |
