Not so much admitting one's sexual preference as admitting defeat then. Personally I prefer monogamy.

Edward! - you're not celibate at the moment by any chance are you?? (smiley face) With a statement like that I would imagine that any woman in her right mind would think twice about helping you end your period of abstinence! lol I think what Maggie was alluding to is that women would much prefer to forget about sex completely than be left hanging mid air by a selfish man! (blush) Your understanding of women and their needs seems to be a little limited. How can 'lousy sex' be 'quite good'??? (puzzled face) There is a whole lot of difference between having sex and making love - and as for pursuing good sex to the ends of the earth! (rofl) You don't know women at all! Magsx

Ah, Mags, you've got me by the short and curlies. The drought has lasted a couple of months but I'm in no rush to end it right now. Why, were you volunteering? In that case, I'm sorry you are already thinking twice about it! If it's any help, I really do my best to never leave a partner "hanging" as you so nicely put it! ;-)

People who know me are now clutching their sides with laughter! No Edward - that was not a mission statement on my part!! lol I know it's said that a change is good as a rest - but at my age you sometimes look forward to the rest! So - thanks but no thanks :-) Here's hoping you reach 'enlightenment'! Magsx

Whenever i've ever used the word celibate it's always been another word for single! I'm in the best relationship ever now and hope never to use the word again!!! This ones for keeps. Jack x

I haven't been celibate for very long periods of time because most of my relationships have led on from the other. As for being single now, am going to sound controversial but that certainly doesn't mean I have to be celibate. That said it doesn't mean that I won't be celibate, just that there are opportunities available... Becx
