I felt so embarresed for Liza, she used to be so fantastic singing and dancing. She's lost her voice and when she first came on the stage I did'nt regcognise her. She should have retired while she was still at the top.

She is probably trying to earn some money to pay for her divorce, it's getting nasty. I don't think the offers are going to come flooding in somehow.

Alice - she was ill a few years back with Viral Encephalitis!! She suffered partial paralysis of facial muscles and one side or her body, and slurring speach - similar to the effects of a stroke.

Now Tommy Steele - 68 yrs old this Friday. Gosh I can remember going to see him with me Mum - and writing to him for his autograph :))

Thanks for that Anne. For a minute there i was wondering if she had suffered a minor stroke in the past her singing seemed lopsided. I put Mr Steele on mute he was so bad. Hopefuuly Cliff will be better after the news.

I'm so happy to have seen Tommy Steele, he was my idol at one time. He had disapeared for years, and tonight he was on the telly. I'm really pleased. p.s. Sorry my other message went on four times, I don't know how that happened, by GC has been playing up all night.
