I've checked 'askoxford.com and crimbo's not made it yet! I like it personally. It's bubbly and fun and I prefer it to xmas. Jack :-) |

Hi, I remember John Lennon calling it Crimble maybe Crimbo is another version of that. Liverpool seems to be the common factor. Gwynne |

Why can't people write CHRISTMAS it's only three letters longer? Or is it a ploy to get rid of, not only the Nativity scene but also the word CHRISTMAS? Come on people lets keep to tradition.! |

Not sure where it sprang up from, first time I heard being used was for Bo Selecta's Xmas hit "Proper Crimbo". Have to admit I use it. :) |

i use crimbo, because people have complained about xmas and faster than writing christmas to be honest i really dont think it matters, im not gonna stop using another word! lol x |
