Just got back from shops and on the advice of dad brought her a hair straightening device. He also said that she needs a dressing gown but but I couldn't get the two. I compromised and brought some fairy liquid. |

Well done Dan, I'm sure your mum will be really pleased with her hair straighteners. I got my son into my good habits early - he whizzed round WHSmiths a few weeks ago! Hope you have a great Christmas Dan, and everything you hope for in 2005. Love Mandy :) xx |

A hit with my family has been pictures! I got a large frame and put black poster board as the background. I found, scanned, and printed out old photo's of different family members using black and white ink to print out all the photos. Arranged the pictures on the black matting and then used cement glue to hold them in place (cement glue won't damage photo's.) Place the mat under the photo glass....and voila (!) instant tear jerker as the older folks walked down memory lane! (Using black mat with black and white photo's alleviates the task of having to cut out holes so there is a boarder in the frame.) Not only inexpensive, but a gift from the heart.....and mom's LOVE that! Happy Holidays! Judy |
