What wonderful news and that some family mourning the loss of their loved one has had the courage to give life to a stranger. It is hard for next of kin to be approached sometimes or they are too emotional to make a discision but there is an Organ Donor list one can register on - this makes the decision yours. My husband and I registered some time ago. Ann

I know it is a terrible thing that someone has to die to help another human being to live, but i believe we should all carry donor cards all my family certanly do. When i die and please god it is a long way off yet ,they can take what ever they want,i am registered for everything . My husbands sister did try to be a donor for Fred but she was no good and my husband being Diabetic was also no good. Val

Val I imagine that it is some comfort to the relatives of the person who donates an organ after their death that it has enabled someone else to live. nell
