Frances Margaret and Lindy it takes 24 hrs by plane to get here and as its hot apool party might be the go if you can't make it we will just meet here and have little seperate parties first in Aussie then in the UK then off to Canada love laraine

Hi Lindy as its very hot where I live what about a spa party or a pool party then no one will wear perfume and there will be no smoking either we even have a lake here in my back yard and its only a 24 hr. flight from the UK all welcome

Christine, T.V. is crap but we have cable! I don't always stay up as that way I would never sleep! Being New Years Eve there are so many drunken drivers on the road as well as crazy people. My boys don't drink but they love to hang around in the "hot spots" Lindy;-))

Lindy, you're like me, i like to know they are all safe in bed. My 19 year old son moans at me for staying up but that's what Mums do! Glad he's in his bed tonight, he's working at 6am tomorrow! At least you've got some good films to watch, tv is awful here! Christine

Hi Loraine sorry I didn't see you there. Happy New Year to you My hubby hasn't even been drinking he has to take his mum to work in the morning, so he is tee total bless. We had a bit of a disaster this evening, we had some friends up and their daughter fell down our stairs and split her head open. Bless her little heart, my husband took her and her parents to hospital. She is ok has butterfly stitches and bit shocked, apart from that she is fine. Sorry that you lost your dad on New Year's eve, it must be really difficult for you. Nicola xx

OO Now see we could party next year with the Aussies first, gives us time to recover then have our New year, then off to Canada for another party. That sounds like a good plan! LOl Christine

Nicole I guess it will be a while before you read this but I can relate to you and Christine when my hubby drank I used to sit home on New Year and saw many in on my own but now hes tee total and goes to bed at 9:30 so I still see it in on my own and also I lost my Dad on New Years Eve so its full of mixed Emotions But I guess we are the lucky ones to be seeing it at all so chin up and we'll make a date to get together next New Year the three of us and have a party on Line as Physically might be a bit hard I'm in Australia Love to all and Happy and Healthy New Year
