Christine, I'm a part-time school administrator; I usually work a half day on a Wednesday, but they have a staff training day, and Thursday is my day off ... hence Friday. Nice short week lol! And I get rid of my two menfolk gradually, giving me a bit of peace and quiet to do some rellie-hunting lol! Yummy, bacon was done just how I like it, many thanks! Mandy xx

Thank you for breakfast Christine. It's nice to have company while the rest of the household are asleep. Going to bag a bathroom slot now before fireman son comes in from night duty. Bye all. See you again. Gwyn

Morning everyone ..... scrolled down and realised I've just missed Lou and Jude - sorry! Good news (well for me anyway) - I actually had a proper night's sleep last night, first one in weeks. Slept solid from 12.30 - 8.00am instead of keep waking up, tossing and turning etc. Now looking forward to a good feed - anything decent left? Mmmmmmmm could just go a nice bacon sarnie with my hot chocolate, but as a real treat could you toast the bread first please? Hubby back to work tomorrow, son back to school Wednesday, and me not back till Friday wahooooo! Mandy xx

Oh Lou. I could have sent you over a cooked chicken, if I'd known. I had a rummage in the chest freezer on 31st to get chicken out for a New Years day meal and when I looked on 1st there was a bag of de-frosting meat beside it. I spent much of 1st cooking meat, but we went out to Hampshire yesterday so there's cold chicken and ham not started yet. Must have got more' senior' since my birthday!

That's a shame the Queen had to decline her invite for brekkie, I had reserved a table for her next to Marion's, I thought they would be able to converse well there! :))

Yes Lou, they've had some good bargains in trousers. What a mark-up there must be for original prices though! Lovely toast Christine. Just how I like it.
