Did anyone catch Richard and Judy yesterday evening.They had an article about the Spirit world being able to contact us through the white noise areas of our radios. You have to set up your radio and leave it running for hours and record the white noise.When you play the tape back you may have picked up spirit messages. There was also an article in the weekend Mail last weekend. Antone up for giving it a try.I thought I would-Curious Rose

I saw it. It takes a great deal of imagination to find words amongst the noise. I am not convinced.

I could hear nothing when they first played it back.However I found the discussion interesting and what the two researchers had to say.Apparently there are much better examples of messages than those used.It might have been better if Richard and Judy had got hold of better material.Like you I was very sceptical,but I am willing to give it a go-Rose

No one else Curious?

I've been aware of this phenomeona for a couple years but am too afraid to try it myself because of what might happen. It would play on my mind. In have heard other examples, some very clear ones in the past and I do beileve there is something in it.

I'd love to, especially as I think I have my own spirit guide but don't have a radio or tape recorder :-( becx

I lost my mother only few weeks ago and returned her to my father's grave in Shropshire.We had to have the grave opened for her to be interred with him' As she was laid in the grave I experienced a very warm and happy feeling.I had actually been dreading it as I thought that I would collapse,but instead I had a wonderful feeling of their love and happiness. Since then my son has heard his grandmother moving around our house.I have smelled her perfume,Gardenia in the sitting room.I cannot wear perfume myself as I am asthmatic. I know that both my parents are with me now and they come together,They are so happy to be reunited.I will do the white noise taping as I have nothing to fear from either of them. Rose

I've read many cases of spirits (I hate that word, some are people who once lived and still are really) of injuring people - levitation, throwing things, pushing down stairs, running in front of cars trying to cause accidents and many more.

There was a piece about this on This Morning today. They had a lady on there who has taped these voices for 23 years. I'm sure I saw the same lady on an episode of Jane Goldman investigates. A very interesting concept. She even used digital recorders in the Jane Goldman programme as they are clearer.

I occasionally go to clairvoyant evenings at my local spiritualist church. I am really undecided about whether I believe or not but I go along because it really interests me. Sarah

Daniel, not sure what that was about but I wouldn't rise to the bait! Personally, with all due respect, I can't believe anyone is falling for this! I couldn't believe how gullible Richard and Judy were. If there are better examples of this, why didn't they have them on the show? I am old enough to remember a ridiculous court case where Black Sabbath (I think!) were taken to court because supposedly their records played backwards carried subliminal messages. The case fell apart when their defence lawyer picked random records, played them backwards and 'discovered' ludicrous 'messages'. He basically proved you can make anything sound like anything. Has no-one ever looked at tiled floors or patterned fabrics and seen faces in them? It's exactly the same thing. I felt very sorry for the people who genuinely felt there loved ones would talk to them this way, but why would they? The messages can only be heard when recorded and played back--would there not be an easier way to leave a sign? Rose, i do feel for you. I lost my Mam almost two years ago, and I feel her all around me, and am sure she sends me messages--I even here her voice at times. Maybe I'm imagining it all, or maybe the bond between us is so strong that it cannot be broken by death, or maybe I just feel that connection still in my head and heart and it's my way of comforting me when I miss her. I hope, Rose, you can find the same comfort and love from your parents whatever way you feel works for you.

Skeptics always ask for some sort of proof and when something like this happens, they just say it's fake. Do you think anything will convince people?

I went with my daughter to see Tony Stockwell in November and we had a message from my mother in law. I went with a totally open mind and I now have to believe. What he said was too off the wall, nothing general, to be coincidence. Parting comment, she says she's giving you a saucepan. That week my daughter had moved into a flat with her boyfriend. I had given her some of my mother in laws bakeware. Diane
