You ,should have a good weekend Claire,the town is busting with continental farm markets at the minute[and continental prices]. The castle keep is worth a visit too,and there are many places to eat.If you like to eat chinese style ,try Charlies at Gallowgate ,all you want for £8 a head and the choices are fab.Take a camera into Stowell street [china town] ,that is really colourful.Fred.ptfg. |

Thanks Fred,,we usually head for the indian on Grainger street. Otherwise somewhere in Tynemouth, Might even eat in the hotel where its quiet ,,I cant be doing with struggling through screaming half dressed kids to get to the bar, Of course i shall be doing a wee bit of looking up in the library,,plus the inevitable shopping while Graeme is at the footie match.. |
