had a delivery scheduled for today - anytime from 0730 to 1930. Rang this morning and was told "before 12". Then they rang me back and said "sorry, we made a mistake, between 5 and 6". Now they have just rung again and said "the driver has been delayed due to a fire on the M25 and can't get to you". Now we have to start from scratch tomorrow - anytime from 0730 to 1930. Good mind to lie and tell them I have to take 2 days off work and need compensation. aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!! could just about swing for someone at the moment. Maz. v cross. **** UPDATE **** Rang them again this morning and they have told me it will be here before 1pm. So now lets wait and see - will let you know! Maz. XX |

I had this with Comet when they were coming to fit my cooker. With them you have to pay extra to be able to pick a narrower timescale - when they eventually arrived at 7pm (for a 7am - 5pm delivery!!) they told me my electrics were wrong and they couldnt fit it. Did get a date* with the electrician tho so he came back and put it in for free and comet had to give me my delivery fee back Zoe *wouldn't necessarily recommend doing this with ALL of their drivers |
