My only claim to famous ancestors is my Gx6 grandfather Henry Floyd, who was, according to the newspapers 'probably the heaviest man in England' - well he was famous in Romsey!! My children, however are g g grandchildren of Charles Stewart Parnell & Katie Wood, and their grandfather (my late fil) was chef to King George VI and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother - and many interesting tales he had to tell!! Bob was awarded the MBE for his services. Unlike certain ex employees of the Royal Household he kept his tales to himself and his family!! maggie
