Bec I went speed dating about a year ago, there was this really yummy bloke at it that I thought I really clicked with, anyway I found out afterwards that he worked for the local BBC radio station and was just there for a radio piece that was going to be on air the following morning. Anyway I listened to it and he said he didnt fancy anyone that was there - gutted!, anyway the DJ asked for people to call in if they were at the event, so I called in and said that I was gutted that he didnt fancy me. That evening I got a phone call from the producer asking me out on a date, I went out on a date with him, but he wasnt my type. I must be the only person ever to get a date from a speed date event with a person that wasnt even at the event! - these things always happen to me! Karen (aka the original bridget jones!)

I work for a property surveying company and this morning i spoke to a bloke that sounded really yummy, were surveying his property on monday so I've ordered the surveyor to nose around his property to see if theres any sign of a female living there as well :-) I've already had a nose on Friendsreunited and found him on there and hes a few years older than me, but knowing my luck hes probably mega ugly and doesnt know were his kitchen sink, rubbish bin and toilet is :-( Karen

LMAO! We had two guys here doing the electrics in our office for two weeks and i fancy the pants off one of them, and as they were leaving last friday i shoved a post it note with my number written dwn on it in his hand....he text me at 5.30 that night! and every day apart from today since! xx

:-) The last bloke that I went out with (which was a year ago - arghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!) I met at work, he delivered water to our office and it took me a year and a half to pluck up the nerve to find out if he was single and to ask him out and even then I had to email his workplace to ask if he was single - the only prob was the only email address I had was for the accounts dept so the whole office had a good old laugh before he got to see it :-) apparently he was mega chuffed and danced around the office cos he had had his eye on me aswell :-) We lasted 2 months before I decided he was too young for me - 8 years younger than me and only interested in getting drunk, going out with his mates and footie :-( Were still good friends though and quite often I give him advice on the female species :-) Karen

Karen - I know what you mean... Miss nice aftershave smells... will have to go to my local pub tonight and have a good sniff... everyone will think I've gone mad :-) lol becx

Bec, the only prob with boys smelling is that sometimes they smell nice, I love the smell of a bloke with fresh aftershave on, I've been known to go weak at the knees when a bloke walks past me who smells yummy but looks like the back of a bus :-) Karen
