my bridge broke i was simply chatting and suddenly my front tooth, which is held in place by a bridge (curtousy of a mad horse and a very good dentist) flew across the room. i now have a rather large gap where my tooth should be and i can't see the dentist til thurs. i am seriously considering staying in bed til then, and the only people i shall be talking to are you lot, cos you can't see me. Poor Bev! I can sympathise - had a similar experience when I was about 11, I fell over on my skates and cracked a piece off a front tooth that had to be removed eventually. I hope you've got a good dentist! Good luck. CB >|< |

oh dear bev(snigger ) im not laughing really honest!! i too have a bridge ,my 5 front teeth!!! gawd help me if that flew across the room,or should i say gawd help everyone else lmao i fell off my bike at 9yrs old and knocked my 2 front teeth out. i ended up with a denture for all my childhood:( i had the bridge fitted when i was 26!!! i know just how you feel hun susie |

Susie it's my 2 front teeth, on separate bridges, luckily only one has come out i am sat here with poligrip at the mo! i have to go to work on monday and don't think i can get through a 12 hour shift without opening my mouth!!!!! |

Hi Bev, I'm not laughing at you, 'cause I know how you feel, my front tooth was caped and on new years eve a few years ago it dropped out, I was lucky as my dentist was in doing some paper work and promised to repare it there and then, so I could go out..... Bev |
