Asda, I dont really like it there cause it is always busy, and I get really hot and fed up with everyone. But I have been there for years and years, and before it was Asda it was Carrefour, which I still have my Microvave which is 14 years old and still going well. Well, I suppose Asda has everything I could possibly want even bought football boots for my little one today saved me going into town. I buy all my electrical goods there as when the year is nearly up I take it back and get a new one.

Am intrigued Debbie re electrical goods - do you say they are faulty? Use Tesco - my son needs transport to grocery shop so I do mine at the same time that I take him. Also get points save them until Christmas. Ann

generally Morrisons, because it's closest. We still prefer Tesco's though (even though Morrisons is a little cheaper), but we're lazy lol

Hi Ann Well, after a while my Morphy richards Iron starts leaking, proberly because I dont clean it out much. and 3 times now just before the year is up I take it back and say its leaking and I get a new one. My Hoover I bought cheap as the box was damaged, but got home and found no handle so got another one but it was display model and didnt like it, so took it back and now have one that makes a real noise so I will take that back soon. I have taken back the little hand held hoovers and say it has lost its power and they ask no questions. so sometimes they are faulty and sometimes I just want a new one and if they ask no questions then why not?

I Like sainsburys and the reward cards. Saving my rewards at the mo and I have loads. but do most of my shopping at Tescos because it is nearer. Like Morrisions but it means going into banbury for that Nat

Asda coz it's the nearest and cheapest. But as someone else said, it's always sooooo crowded. I tend to shop at 6.30am - all the shelves are full and NO CROWDS! I really prefer Tescos, but my nearest is too small and doesn't have enough variety. Sometimes go to the big one in Sutton/Cheam, but don't often have the time. Have tried Tescos on the internet, but each time at least 3 products are wrong. May give it another go. I always used to go to Sainsburys, before Asda and Tesco came it was the only place to shop round here. I went there yesterday for a few bits as I was nearby and I can't believe how expensive it is! Spent the whole time telling my daughter "We should have gone to Asda!" LOL Sue xx

I used to shop at Safeway which was really good - that changed to Morrisons and I didn't like it - cheap it was but there wasn't the quality. The store is now Tesco after a refit - it is too small to give a full range but we have now started trying their own brand foods and they are really good. The fruit and veg is the best in the area and so far I am pleased

Tesco and Iceland online - HATE going shopping especially when people allow their kids to run riot in the shops - and think it is funny when they fling things about the aisles. Home delivery - perfect. And in all the time I have done online shopping I have never had a problem.

Asda usually because it's the cheapest, Sainsburys is neareer but to expensive, we also have a Lidls, but they only ever have ne til open, which means a queue a mile long. Also don't like lidls return policy. Sue, I shop in that Tesco during the summer!!!!!!! I'm the mum screaming blue murder at her 4 kids!!!! Shelli

I make an effort (but it's hard sometimes!) to use greengrocer, fishmonger, butcher, farm shop and market rather than the supermarket, for fresh stuff. Small retailers are being squeezed out by the giants, who give the impression that they're providing 'what the customer wants' when all they're interested in is market share and profits! (Sorry, I could rant for England on this one, it's my soapbox subject!) I do use Sainsburys although it's not the nearest. Tesco is nearer and it's AWFUL - always busy and full of screaming kids!
