What concern's now is Sutcliff, has gone back to his home town! What do we do in Genealogy? find our roots and want to go back????? he has had the taste again, he went back, so what now????!!! The likes of the Krays and Ronnie Biggs never really bothered me. Krays were 'gang land' and they were all doing the same in all the conflicts, Biggs thought he could get rich quick, and the train drivers testimonial has always been suspect, but Sutcliff is a different matter!!! he was devious before, very devious! what has he learnt since then? and how much does he want to get out????

Just feel Broadmoor is too lenient, well not just Broadmoor, they are speding 20 mil on a new recreational complex for them!!. HELLOOOOOOOO and yes, they do go out on 'bus & shopping' trips, and they can hit any pub in Reading while there, 'Community Interaction' I think it's called!!!!

bit like Lord Longford wanting Myra Hindley released. I was only a kid when the moors murders happened but I still remember how it changed everyones life - mothers were more vigilant and children didnt stray far. Even when Hindley was wanting to get out - I would have fought against it. Some crimes are so heinous the perpetrators should NEVER be released into society. Her and Brady showed no remorse - neither has Sutcliffe

susie manterfield(high wycombe) Report 20 Jan 2005 23:25

i really dont think you can put the krays in the same class as sutcliffe! the krays should never have been locked away for so long. they never went around and killed just anybody for the fun of it they just killed other criminals im not saying that they were right cos they werent ,they shouldnt have done it. they werent harmless to the general public susie

Sorry Sheila, You are right, but didn't only one go to the funeral? just remember, as the guards van didn't leave Broadmoor, or was that one too poorly then?

Unknown Report 20 Jan 2005 23:24

Bev, I think when someones been inside a long time, as it reaches the end of their sentence they're gradually reintroduced to the outside world - the odd day trip here and there, usually supervised.

Unknown Report 20 Jan 2005 23:23

fact! sutcliffe's lawyers are looking to go to the european court of appeal,to get him an early release. the government, having taken legal advice, decided to allow him to visit the ground, where his father's ashes, have been laid...otherwise,refusal would have helped sutcliffe's legal team,in their efforts to free him. bryan.

I thought they were supposed to be locked up for a reason, that reason being that they are a danger to society! So what are they doing going shopping for gawds sake!! I agree with what you say about the do gooders! They probably wouldnt feel like that if it was a member of their family who had been murdered or something
