I really had no idea, I've never been that forward thinking. Through education, I realised that I enjoyed maths and computing, which eventually led to my degree in those subjects. I got into IT, which led to a period of redundancy, and I'm back doing IT work again, but I'm somewhat disillusioned/unfulfilled with the profession I've chosen. I'm struggling to know what it is, I really want to do in life.

Air Traffic Controller in the RAF... decided that at the age of 6! Interviewed at 18, was accepted but that trade was closed to recruits at that time. Went to work at Aston Martin on a 6 month contract while I waited and got seriously hooked on cars.... still in the automotive industry 20 years later! RG

Retired. And now at 57 I am! But seriously, at points in my life an oceanographer, palaeontologist, and racing mechanic. The first two from reading aspirations and interest. The third after racing Karts, Formula 2 stock cars and Formula first single seaters I realised I wasn't a very good driver, but ace with spanners! So I had a career in Electronics. Thats the way the wind blows isn't it?
