Hmm, this has got me thinking... As far as I know (please correct me though if I'm wrong) Hitler didnt actually kill anyone himself, he got others to do his dirty work. So, who is more evil, Hitler or his henchmen who actually did the killing? For instance, if I told everyone on this thread to go out and kill someone, who would be more evil, you or me? If none of you did it (and I sincerely hope you won't) then I am certainly more evil than you. But I haven't killed anyone.Just a thought! I was a young woman when the Moors Murders happened and it changed life for everyone. Up till then, children were always told to "find a lady" if they were lost or in distress or whatever. That all finished the day those two appeared in court. I think evil is more common than we like to think it is - so many people don't seem to mind being evil if they think there is no possibility of being caught, or, perhaps justified by war, think there will be no reprisals. |

It could be anyone..your next door neighbour. I think people are evil because they think that they can get away with what ever they want. I saw and heard of some pretty awful things in Bosnia, and they only came about because the people who committed these attrocities believed that they were above the law. It seems that people in a position of power are the ones who are the most evil (Hitler, Sadaam, Stalin, Himmler et al). |
