Hi Jess Hope you and Ryan are well. I managed to keep Maddison awake today for her passport photo, as soon as I put her coat back on she was a sleep, so I had to be quick!! She's been giving us her first proper smiles today (when she has managed to stay awake) Liz

hello got back form our outing. ryan has been a good boy. he's on his play mat at the moment bashing his play gym lol

great good luck with those! My nan told me a few bits yesterday and i got 2 pictures for a very distant cosuin of his 2 uncles that her mum had!

what a good bubba! im ok, couldnt get to sleep until 3.30 and had to wake up at 6.30, so a bit tired! got a good couple of leads on the family tree front, but still waiting to hear back from people, crossing my fingers! x

MORNING EVERYONE Hope you are all ok today. Well yesterday was fun. Went to my nan's ryan was really well behaved then suddenly came this really painful cry. after about half hour managed to get him settled and he fell asleep. he woke up had a drink and went in his pram fine. Got to my mum's he started again, the painful cry, finally got him settled. jamie came and we went to his parents house, was fine then started again, had a drink calmed him down after half hour. went to jamie's aunt's house lol...a full hour he had pain and would not stop crying. luckily he wasn't sick but it was either his blocked nose, his teeth or his bottom that caused the screaming, painful cry. He's fine so far this morning though. Off out at 11 to meet a friend so will chat when i can :)

Jess could he have reflux?? maybe take him to the doctors just to find out. My friends little girl kept throwing up several times a day and was always changing her. Maybe this is what it is! Have a good day at your nans, I`m hoping Chris will get given the afternoon off, as I`m tired and need my bed.xx

morning everything!! Well what a bloody morning it`s been. Chris had to get up really early as he had an appointment about his legs at hedley court. Kian has decided to cry ALL morning, for no reason and the Kitten has been attacking me!! Chris got back about 15mins ago, and both have calmed down since he got in!! Typical, no loyalty, don`t expect it from the kitten but I carried Kian for 9months and went through a major operation!!

Hiya all Julianna - i do miss it very much and i loved every minute of it esp when one child came up to me before thye moved up a year and said they were very grateful for the way id helped them and made them see that they could do the work they just needed a little encouragement!!! I still feel isolated. i live about 20 mins walk from parents but they work, all my friends work or live away and my partners family work too or just dont bother to contact me. i go to my parents some evenings before jamie comes home but he hates me being there he expects me to b home for him, which i can understand! anyways must get back to ryan...he's been sick all down his clean clothes lol

Afraid I'm not a new mum either (my baby boy is 16 lol) but I would like to say what a brilliant idea this thread is. For the first year of my son's life, we were living in Herts and my husband was commuting in and out of London. My only other pregnant friend returned to work and I didn't. I was totally isolated and spent much of every day on my own. Unfortunately we didn't have home pcs back then, as it would have been a lifeline for me. And to those of you who have screaming, wakeful littlies - it does get easier, honest! When a strapping 6-footer comes for a cuddle and tells me he loves me, everything is worthwhile lol! Mandy :)
