Has anyone come across bad choices of names by parents for their children, so that the initials are less than flattering. E.g. Thomas William Ian Taylor. |

My son is called Andrew Douglas Burns so his initials really are BAD! He keeps reminding me of this when I question his behavbiour! To make it worse his school call hom by his surname first and then the initials. Burns. A.D. Daughters are DMB - Doc Martin Boots. Joan. |

I'm grateful for being christened Andrew Roger Cook rather than Roger Andrew Cook, otherwise I would have had people ringing me up all the time with emergency phone calls, LOL. |

Used to be HMD Her Majesty Deeks. Since marriage I'm HMP Her Majesty's Prison. Sublime to the ridiculous or what! Husband is ATP but known always by his first name which is what his parents wanted to call him, but they didn't want TAP. |

If I'd married a man whose surname began with H I would have been HRH which I think highly appropriate! I did know an unfortunate boy whose initials spelt R.I.P. I suppose it would save on engraving his headstone. nell |
