Gillian Thanks for keeping us posted. Sorry to hear you need another operation, but hopefully that will be the end of it all. You don't know me, but I'm just one of the global family on GR, wanting you to know that we're all supporting you from afar with positive thoughts and prayers.

Gillian, I now have a hoarse voice from all that singing, pity the wine ran out! If that is the only song we all know... "The Self-Preservation Society" from the Italian Job, lol, then I'll bring along a Karaoke song book next time. Seriously, we're all rooting for you....keep positive please. I hope your op goes well and your recovery is speedy. love Sue X

Dear Gillian Sorry to hear the news was not as you would have wished for. Sorry Susie and I couldn't make the trip yesterday - had to be elsewhere but truely would have preferred a trip into Milan (never been before) instead of Susie hospital appointment and treatment. I agree with Gaynor, best to tell your daughter how it is. Have had lots of experience keeping our older daughter, who is away at university, up-to-date with her sister's condition/treatment. Keep positive, keep smiling and your face to the sun. Remember, laughter is sometime the best medicine. Well, we certainly think so and it can't help having a good giggle now and then. We are with you totally and always here for you. Love and big hugs to you and Piero Wendy and Susie xxXXxx

Hi Gillian This happened to my mum too. Nine years after the first operation and the specialist was about to sign her off but a mammogram found another tiny growth. She had the op and radiotherapy and she's fine now. Keep smiling, it's the best medicine. Best wishes Heather

GILLIAN I enjoyed the scenery from the car.......not been to Italy before. Being over six foot, though, my legs were a bit squashed, with all these other genes' fanatics! Seriously, hang on in there and don't let the b.......s get you down! Dilys
