Hi, I am a newbie and in the last month i have sat and cried with laughter at many of all your stories. the most recent was about M.I,L`s. was`nt able to read half of what you all had written for tears, I suffer badly with depression and have read many a story through the night, I may have come on here feeling low, but I knew you good people would have my spirits lifted. I have learn`t many new ideas on researching my family, that I found it was a must that my daughter had paid my first subscription for me to Join GR and a big thank you to you all for keeping me going in moments of dispair. I don`t think you all know how much you have helped me and many others who read these and are alone. keep up the good work. Most grateful, Linda |

Linda hi I am newbie too as I only joined up with GR in November when they joined up with school friends in Australia and it took a while to get the courage to join in here But I'm the same as you sometimes suffering with depression as I have just had to put my mum in a nursing home its not that so much , but how it came about , she was a healthy active lady of 79 and went into have an unnessary op. and they gave her an infection and now she can't walk is incontinent and has dementia, and I have a Vietnam Veteran husband , and a son who is gorgeous but has depression too, so I do know and I agre with you talking and reading on here has helped me no end so welcome all the best Love Laraine |

I got up this morning, tidied the house, fed the children, did the chores and intended to get dressed and fill in some family charts to guide me with the next set of certificates I need.
