Lucia, I can't speak for every degree hun ....but I would imagine so. Saying that it only takes a good week to write 4,000 words. The longest bit is before hand preparing for the topic you are going to write about. Sue xx

I have to write a boring essay for school on public art and I'm struggling to get 1500 words...!! Lucia :-)

Daniel Report 30 Jan 2005 20:41

I'm not. It's a money making scheme. I thought I should try and earn some cash and not being one for manual work (my mother will back me up on this) decided to do something I enjoy- My town's history and social history in general. Seeing that there is only one book on Birkenhead crime, I have spotted a gap in the market and hope to get a book published on Wirral's criminal past.

I had to do 10,000 words for a post-grad diploma....! It was a struggle, lol!

Lucia, the easy way to write a good essay is to have a good solid introduction. Make it clear to yourself then it becomes clear to the reader. It also gives you step by step instructions on what you yourself have to write about. Sue xx

Deanna, he's not just a scruff in his bedroom...he thinks he will dissolve in water. He stinks!! He thinks if he sprays Linx on himself every day then that's ok. Me and hubby can't wait for him to discover girls!! Sue xx

Sheila, the worse bit is loosing track of what I am writing about. I tend to drift off the topic and then nothing makes sense. I have to keep reading what I have done and get back on track!! Daniel...charge him the going rate!! Sue xx

I know Sue, I really had to work hard to keep it within spec, also didn't help that the subject matter was less than inspiring as my original topic had to be abandoned! I'm thinking of starting OU this year, must be a glutton for punishment! Sheila x

Lucia, I'm not brainy love, just determined to do this. I honestly think common sense and determination wins over brains hands down. Jean and Deanna I think you should both raise my son for me until he becomes respectable and smells nice!! Sue xx

no thanks sue, it was a bit of a shock getting the one i've got back.at the age of 69 did'nt expect to be looking after sons again....i live in sheltered housing so had to have permission for him to stay...was telling the resident manager where i live, that i hoped that my other son did'nt have a marriage breakup as well and need a home...she laughed and said well you will have to get bunk beds....oh perish the thought
