We have a big Parish Church near us, that has a graveyard around it. From December they sell christmas trees from there. Does a roaring trade.

Went past there this morning, hundred of trees on the grass, and people buying them.

Much too early for me.

Funny what pops in to your mind, she knitted all our jumpers/cardigans….when my younger brother had outgrown his…they were undone and Mum would make me a bobble hat and Balaclavas for my brother

Oh yes, making pom-poms.

Two pieces of cardboard, and winding the wool around it. Tying it off when cut, before the whole lots fell out the middle. :-D :-D

14th December is early enough for me.

Remember letting the kiddlie-winkles dress the tree, then waiting until they were asleep then taking it all off, and doing it properly. :-D :-D

PatinCyprus

PatinCyprus Report 23 Nov 2022 19:37
