I too remember Sharron fondly. She was one of the first people I ‘met’ on here in 2005 when she gave me info on the holiday camp I once worked a season at, close to Chichester.

We often exchanged messages and not so many years ago, I too should have met with Sharron and her hubby during a visit they made to Norfolk. Because of my increasingly debilitating fatigue, and time constraints on their part, we didn’t manage to get together and I will always feel sad that it didn’t happen.

I do hope her hubby is managing to stay well and is enjoying life as best he can without his special lady by his side

Can't believe it's been that long already, still feels so recent. Never had the chance to meet her but had many private messages. She was such a lovely lady always ready with a joke or a kind word. Sadly missed I hope her OH is well, and as already said I don't honestly think Sharron knew how much she was liked and is now missed. <3

Not only a funny lady but one with a really wide range of interests and knowledge. She is much missed.

Like Shirley, I had planned to meet her but regretfully it didn't come about. A couple of months before she died she put up a thread about battle cogs going out to sea from Ipswich in the 14th century. She wanted to come and see where they sailed from and we hoped to meet. She was going to liaise with me later about a date but sadly "later" never came.

Remembering Sharron <3 <3

I remember the day I met with Sharron & her OH. They picked me up on route as I was staying with my father and then we went on to meet Gwyn at a country pub.

Well, we got very lost and was only after an hour of driving all-round the houses, she noticed the map she was holding was upside down :-D :-D :-D

We then found the turning off the main road and eventually arrived over 2 hours late for lunch.

But we had such a wonderful time and Sharron bought the famous quilt she made. It was amazing and was a real talking point. She was a fab lady and her OH was so patient.

I'm so glad I did get to meet her and so sorry Shirley that you didn't, that was unfortunate. I still have one of her famous dishcloths and use it daily.

Very much missed

I loved her wit

She was so modest and a bit self deprecating in her care of her dad Fred .

We had arranged to meet up one time and she and her other half were driving to Kent for us all to meet for lunch

Sadly the day before I had to cancel cos hubby had a turn ! and wasn’t able to be left alone

We were going to rearrange but it never happened

Very disappointing that we never met up but we had privately messaged each other many times

Her sudden passing was a shock to everyone

I think Sharron would be shocked at how much we miss her sense of humour, her down to earth posts and her whacky recipes. <3 <3 <3 So much missed Sharron.

The laughs she gave are much missed.

A lovely lady with very funny stories. She kept us all entertained.
