Guess who had another short power failure last night. By the time we had the internet up and running again you were all gone :-(

What's causing the power cuts, Pat :-0

All we know is it was from our power station but nothing in the press. They may have done a temporary patch waiting for a technician - the second loss of power could have been sorting it out, it wasn't long but it seems to take ages for the internet to come back.

Pat, I hope your power supply settles and you can keep online, when you want to.
I remember we had a power cut for days, when we lived in Cyprus, back in 70s.
I think maybe there was industrrial dispute ? but of course no internet to worry about then, just how was I going to boil water for the baby's bottles in an all electric flat :-S

she is going to ask my GP if I can get bloods done three monthly
instead of monthly as they have been good results.
