We had a young french lad staying with in-laws through the Catholic Church in the 1950,s

He was 14 but still in shorts and came with lots of instructions from his parents on his care and dietary need etc

One need that mum said was he had to have a suppository inserted every week !

Mum said nope not doing that no way !

Shirley, my dear. You evidently don't understand the concept of defiance and the level to which I have perfected it!

My cat doesn't even know about ground up pills. My method is to sit beside the cat with it tucked under my left arm, hold it's head up with my left hand and ram the pill down with my right hand and I would like to see him try that, I can tell you!

I have already been persuaded because I don't think I have the stamina to be a stroke victim! Don't like sausages either!

I’m not sure taking the pills the other way will help. ;-)

You know the effects of a stroke first hand so you really don’t want to go there

How would your other half manage without you being able to organise him !

Maybe he needs to crush the tablets and hide em in your food

Your cat can explain how it’s done Lol

You and I have both been carers , you longer than me , so we know the stress it puts on the carer


Sooo please get those pills down you regularly one way or the other

Take the pills Sharron I'm sure they're not horse pills and massive probably nice and small like mine are! Worth the effort....

Sharron's Dad Fred had a stroke and was in a wheel chair and sharron, being the bully she admits to be looked after him. She was a star but doesn't like people to know that.
