Washing out and keeping my fingers crossed.

Early last week I washed all of the window frames at the back of the house. When I was hanging out the washing I saw dirt sprays up the windows and along the ledges so I hosed all windows and ledges.

It puzzled me until I remembered K had cleaned, brushed and hosed all of the paved area on Friday, thereby messing up all my good work,

We need some co-ordination here. :-|

Next time forget about the windows so K can clean the paved areas and then hose the

windows leaving you in a supervisory capacity ;-) ;-) <3

Von, OH sacked the cleaner many moons ago but that’s another story!

He’s done them himself since then but not often. I have never done them since I was working!

We almost have a wall of windows at the back of the house, and all patio opening types. I wiped ledges only early in the week because they needed it (and Gnddtr and partner were visiting us before their move), but I hosed everything down this morning while OH was still in bed - known as cleaning up the mess he made!

There’s not a cat in hell’s chance of my taking his window cleaning job from him. He’ll just have to learn to clean pavers first and windows second. :-D

Ann, just read your post properly. I’m glad you mentioned Call the Midwife because I would not have wanted to miss it.

It started out very dodgy looking this morning with the threat of rain seeming a reality. So I decided against the washing.
But hey, Murphy's Law again! It's dry, sunshine every so often with a lively wind.

Just back from Folkestone, where it was wild and windy...but dry.

Weather had improved enough for the Red Arrows to fly, so they gave a display swooping over the sea with a few gasps from the crowd when it looked like they were too close to each other :-0
