No rain here, we could do with some to fill the rain barrels.
My neighbour gave me loads of courgettes yesterday, so I have made four large Milner jars of chutney, then I made a vat of pea and courgettes soup which is coiling ready to freeze in microwaveable mugs

We've got some ploppy rain now, as long as it's enough for the veg beds and doesn't go on for a week, I'm happy. :-D

I made chutney when we had too many, I also grated it for the freezer and used it in omelettes.

Hope those of you who need rain get just enough and no more.

It's a bit cloudy here and looks as if it may rain but I've just brought my washing in so I don't mind a little bit for the garden to stop other half moaning about how dry the grass is. Not enough to flood the place though.

Hopefully those of you down south have kept your houses dry if not your gardens.
