Last day of term before the summer holidays.

A sad day for some leaving Junior school and going up to big school.

Also a sad day for those leaving Senior school for good and not seeing some friends again and the teachers.

Nice start to the day but will be warming up later :-)

Local primary school finishes next Wednesday. Lots happening before that.

No idea about the secondary schools.

We are hoping to take some sandwiches and go for a little spin, J's health permitting. Tonight we are planning to watch a film. I have daughter on sober-duty ;-) so I'm thinking I may have a glass or two of something this evening :-D

Step grandson finished college 10 days ago

He does go to life skills on a Friday and that’s now full time

He gets picked up by minibus for 9.30am start and finishes at 3pm


He has also been assessed to go on to assisted living and been offered a one bed flat with on site assistance which has been accepted and is now going through the channels :-D

It’s all due process now

The rent would be covered by housing allowance and he is eligible for other allowances

All in all cheaper than taking him into care and institutionalise him

Daughter is very ? on him moving out but is aware he needs to find his feet and what he can do to be himself and live to his full potential

She has said she and his dad won’t be around forever so he needs to have as good life as is possible
