Busy in the garden but just resting with a cup of tea. :-D :-D

Afternoon all. <3 :-D

Just sorted out and wiped some of my grocery order and was in the kitchen when a lovely cousin turned up unexpectedly on my doorstep so we sat and chatted for a while in the sun. It was a good catch-up and I was very pleased to see her.

I have just ordered a new iPad - the other one was proving to be nowt but trouble and it's only eight-years-old. I expect all of my things to last longer than that! The basics worked, could order and get and send emails but no sound so couldn't hear when anyone chatted and couldn't hear to dance!!!! I did everything I could, wiped stuff etc but no joy and on Wednesday I had to dance in front of the big computer on carpet which is no good at all for moving around.

An easy afternoon beckons - in the shade in the garden methinks. It looks as though summer has arrived here at last.

I know, Ann, eight years is a blink of the eye! I expect my things to last a helluva lot longer!

My cooker and hob are more than seventeen years old and still going strong! I'd like to replace my kitchen cabinet doors but I have no excuse for doing so. They're seventeen and look as good as they did when first installed - drat! I don't dislike them, I just fancy new ones but I am the type who needs a reason for changing things. :-D
