How can I prevent others from altering data I have put on my tree. In other words, how can I make sure that only my data stays on my tree, .I would be happy to look at any data others may feel was incorrect but I want to be the one doing the altering's. |

I thought that the only way anyone can alter anything on your tree on Genes and Ancestry is if you give them your password - so keep it to yourself. If you have given it out, change it immediately. |

You can be invited to edit trees on Ancestry but it is only with the owner's permission |
