No way I am going out today. Yesterday I had a doctors appointment so decided to walk even though it was start to rain. That was a bad idea as the heavens opened and the rain wa torrential. The streets were running like rivers. My coat was soaked through by the time I got there. I had to change all my clothes when I got back as they were all so wet. I felt warm enough though. It was going home time for the schools as I was walking and I passed so many children who only had their school blazers on, they were absolutely soaked through as well.

Spent the morning celebrating VE day, dancing, talk, quiz, sing-along, and chat over drinks - all online. She does us proud, our dance/swing teacher. She goes to a helluva lot of effort for us and I, for one, am grateful.

Twas great - much better than the miserable weather outside.

Afternoon all, horrible day here too, so dark and very very wet. Definitely not a gardening day and as far as I can tell, nothing on TV unless you are interested in the elections which seems to be on BBC for about five hours.

They are just constantly rabbiting on about Scotland :-( There are only about five million of them, so all this coverage is out of proportion
OH’s view on them is that we should cut them loose and take all our money back. Have a hard border and leave them to flounder as there is no way they can support themselves. Not sure how pc his view is :-D :-D :-D

As a Scot there are two subjects I don’t get into,
Politics and Religion.

Something strange went on with the vote for our Police & Crime Commissioner. After a recount the leading vote was halved. :-S

Makes you wonder what went on, I think. :-S
