We had our Trader (black lab) for very nearly 14 years, so sad to lose him, he was our first dog.
Took up puppy walking assistance dogs after losing him and are on our seventh puppy who goes on to advanced training next minth.

He won't be able to sit on the table because Desmond, my cat, will be on there like he usually was on Daddy's taxi.

I expect they will be off together haggis hunting again.

I am so sad for you, Emma and family - you gave Rory 14 years of love, fun and kindness and in time, your memories will bring smiles and comfort for your grief. I am sure Rory is waiting on Rainbow Bridge, forever wagging his tail and enjoying feeling young and sprightly again.
