Morning Von :-)

12 degrees sounds a good start.
I keep meaning to ask which coast your seat overlooks?

Will you be venturing out there any time soon?

Morning Von, Gwyn and all sleepy heads yet to arrive <3 <3 :-D :-D

Bright and breezy again here. I was actually up reasonably early this morning.

The seat does seem to have a lovely view Von.

good morning Von, Kath and Gwyn, very grey and feels like rain in the air but 10 degrees and very windy.

Not got a lot to do today, it doesn't feel like gardening weather, I have done a load of washing and made myself brunch, done a bit of shredding. Just going to address the few Easter cards I send, then not sure what will be next. Even during lockdown when all days are the same, when you are suddenly on your own Saturdays and Sundays always seem the hardest, I know it is not logical but it is true for me anyway.

Boy, is that wind nippy :-0 :-0

Off to start on the clocks as I've only done me wrist watch so far :-0. The cooker and the microwave are the worst, I'm sure the instructions aren't in English :-0

I may be gone sometime :-0 :-D

I'm definitely staying indoors today Joy :-)

I'm glad you have 22 degs. inside. I have always had the thermostat set at 21.5 and hubby always used to complain that I should turn it down and wear a cardigan! Now he suffers from the cold really badly (even seen the doctor about it) so now he doesn't mind how warm it is :-D :-D :-D

My inside is set for daytime temperature of 22, Kath. OH feels the cold much more than I do but he is on Warfarin, so to be expected. <3

Gwyn the seat looks out onto the Atlantic :-D :-D :-D

Kath we have our heat up too. Both of us feel the cold quite badly.

It’s now 14 outside but it doesn’t feel like it as the wind is strong.
A domestic day today -well maybe ;-) ;-) ;-)

AnninGlos Report 28 Mar 2021 12:24

My heat indoors I have always had at 21/22 and OH always said it was too high until October when he started to be unwell when even if it was 22 he could not get warm so his bed was always covered with dressing gown and extra coats over his feet. So I bought a special blanket, which is still in its box because before I could put it on the bed, in fact the day before it was delivered, he went into hospital never to return home. My heating goes off at 10.30am and stays off until 4.30pm then goes off around 10pm again and comes on about 7am.

Lovely spot on a fine day, Von, but I guess it can be a bit windswept too.

Can't wait to revisit the South Wales coast of childhood holidays, - when I'm allowed, of course.

KathleenBell Report 28 Mar 2021 12:30

Our heating is set for similar times to yours Ann, but there is an override button where you can have it coming on at the time set for the morning and then staying on all day until it goes off at about 10.30pm.

We have had it set to this setting since about November seeing as all three of us are in the house (and sitting around more) all the time with lockdown.

Blustery describes it here today....the sun is trying its best to break through....you can feel it warming up though :-D

I was tempted to venture out to Loggerheads this afternoon...but I think it will be too busy being a weekend...will wait a bit longer :-)

I will do my Tesco order instead :-D

Afternoon Fly and Ann. <3 :-D

Please explain Ann. :-S

Loggerheads with OH, the lodger or a neighbour - if so, I hope you've donned your armour!

Or are you going shopping? ;-) :-D

I got my free Ocado order at 7.30 pm and chatting to the driver, I discovered that she had a few more deliveries before heading home to Leeds - about 90 minutes' drive from here, I guess.

I hope she doesn't work that late every day as she will be plum-tuckered out!
:-0 :-(

KathleenBell

KathleenBell Report 28 Mar 2021 12:58

Maybe she doesn't start until late afternoon Joy? Some drivers work part-time.

We are even getting our post at teatime some days. I think all delivery drivers are working more hours than they used to.

I thought she may, Kath, although she said she had had a long day.

What tickled me was she (or someone at Ocado) emailed me, letting me know that she'd be driving the onion van! I realised it had pics of onions on the side but my mind could only picture a huge onion pulling up outside our house! :-D :-D :-D
