The needles were like 6 inch nails, and they left a pretty pattern on the arm.

You can tell the age of someone, if they have a vaccination mark. :-D :-D :-D ;-)

The old needles had to be wide enough to get a stiletto in (a thin wire) to clean them out as there were used over and over again. Due to use and the action of boiling water for at least 20 mins they became blunt and had to be sharpened, often only found out when difficult to use :-0

The new ones are disposable so are very fine and always sharp. :-D
