Mum taught me to knit but not cooking. Dad was a better cook than she was, dad's family were good cooks. My mother in law was good and son a chef :-D :-D :-D |

I like pastry too, my mum was good at pastry but she didn't bake. My pastry was good and I love baking but no call for it any more :-( |

Pat...my mum used to make lovely pastry....my fave was when she made mince or stew then made a pie crust to go on top. |
