<3 :-D XXXXX

Good morning everyone.

Shake a leg!

It's a lovely day here (and now I hope I haven't put the mockers on it).

9 degrees and the sun is out.

Lots of flowers on one of our camellia bushes. Spring is on its way. :-D :-D :-D

Morning Belle. <3 :-D

How is Ralphie today?

Heard from more being vaccinated in our region. An old pal got a call late yesterday to go on Sunday - about 15 minutes drive from her village home.

My brother (70) goes to his local pharmacy (five minutes walk from him) on Monday afternoon. It's the pharmacy I told him was on rhe NHS online list when I looked yesterday. He simply rang the pharmacist and asked them about it and he got the Monday appointment.

My pal, like me, can't understand why she received a letter and was given a choice miles away. when she got a phone call later that day offering her the nearby venue.

Not making sense to either of us. :-S

Ho hum, soon to be water under the bridge.

Afternoon everyone <3 <3 :-D :-D

At least it's dry here up to now although the garden is still flooded.

We are looking forward to getting our jabs tomorrow.

Joy - have you heard that the new vaccine (Novavax with an 89% efficacy) is being made in Billingham. Wish we could just go round and pick some up :-).

Well don’t know what they put in that vaccine but today I have been a domestic goddess :-0 :-0 :-0 ;-) ;-)

I may need to lie down this afternoon ;-)

OH has got his appointment but his choice of venue was not all that great. But he was given both appointments. :-)

Hi Emma and Von. <3 :-D

Good news, Emma. <3

Von, while you are in the mood ........ fancy a trip with a little elbow grease at the end? :-D

Did your OH get a letter, Von? We did, as did my friend and her OH and we were both surprised to be offered venues miles away when we both knew there were ones nearer. Both of us then got a call from our each of our surgeries offering us a vaccination at a nearby venue - in our case just as we decided to travel and I was booking s time on Sunday.

Waste of time sending all of us letters here, I think - but what I think may be happening is that when we get a letter a copy or a list is being sent out to our doctors and they are then ringing us.

Joy
I just got OH to check his phone and he had a text from our doctors. He checked but there weren’t any appointments at the place I attended.
Who knows how it’s being organised. Same old shambles as everything else as far as I can see.
I suppose we just have to be grateful that we are getting vaccinated. I do worry at the amount of money the NHS waste on sending out letters though for all sorts of appointments not just the vaccine.
Emma pleased you have got your appointments.
