I didn’t watch it but I would been very verbal to him If I was there it wouldn’t have been aired but I would have felt good showing him up.

I didn't see it.
In the past, I have seen him shouting abuse at so many people, so now I change channel if he comes on the screen.

I , in all honesty cannot understand why anyone would want to watch any programme with the foul mouthed bully boy in it.

My son is an executive chef and has always said Ramsey has harmed the reputation of chefs by the way he behaves. This behaviour has been seen as wrong for many years in the catering business yet there's Ramsey making it look acceptable and the norm for chefs to do.

I have been seeing reports about the food at the Savoy Grill. The food is good but very expensive and only small helpings. Lots of moans about the cost and amount of food.

I just watched for curiosity as to Guest & how the staff are treated nothing else was on last night didn't know Gordon Ramsey was Grill Cheif owner he was on later in the programme the staff were running round making sure all was ready for his visit sorry but we are all human beings .so to be wary of one man was disgusting who does he think he is won't be watching again that's for sure Barbara

I can't stand Gordon Ramsey either, but to give him his due, one of my son's friends is a head chef in one of his restaurants and has worked for him since he left school. He says he is a good employer and has furthered this friend's career from kitchen pot washer to head chef. He has no complaints about him.

Savoy Grill lunch menu is not particularly expensive for central London, v good cooking. Before the shake up/makeover service was far too slow now it is ok.
The high end restaurant trade has never been a good choice for those with a thin skin. Ramsey has a reputation for being hard but fair.

'cos of covid biz lunches, like everything else, are moving out of central London. My last one was at the Potters Heron at Hursley. No doubt MWinchester has her own opinion of it but prices are ok, cooking good ( though well short of the Savoy) and parking/biz facilities excellent.

There is absolutely no reason to swear at people in public he is just showing himself up and is arrogant to boot, and he wouldn’t bully or intimidate me.

Nor me ZZzzz ;-).
As for eating at hotels, blow that it is overpriced for a scrabby little bit of food. We eat well at local restaurants and pubs with good helpings at a reasonable price. I have more important things to do with our money

A few years ago I took my dad to the area that he grew up in and his local pub at that time, it was also a posh restaurant when we were there, we ordered our lunch and when the waiter came out with it dad said he liked the pattern on the plate but where was the food. Lol. To be fair they brought out more at no extra cost.

As one with a mouth like a veritable sewe I don't feel in a position to judge Gordon Ramsey but really must check out that TripAdviser entry about the restaurant.
