Well we got through the thunderstorm of the century last night...not seen anything like it since I was a teenager :-0 :-0 :-0

The lightening hit the outside overhead porch light..which was dangling by its wire this morning :-0 :-0

Went on till early hours of the morning. Very hot here again...so fingers crossed for tonight

Really lovely here so been sitting out in the shade. OH still there but I've come in for a drink and now wondering whether to make it a hot one or a long, cold one.

I saw the storms reported on telly, Ann. The lightning flashes seemed bad - and lots of them. have not spoken to Chester cousin yet but another cousin is on a camping holiday in Anglesey so will text to see if they're OK.

It has gone cloudy now...hope the thunder and lightening does not return....it was amazing the way it lit up the sky...went on for hours

There is a place called Capel Currig....they had horrendous storm..golf size hale :-0 :-0

The TV is a bit shoddy tonight...they will be running out of new stuff soon
